The entertainment world wasn't ready for Cardi B and Kehlani's 'Ring' music video—and neither were they! The artists both woke up to the upsetting news that their work had been leaked without their consent, and Cardi B took to social media to share her frustrations.
“I’m a little pissed, because I woke up this morning and I got on Instagram like, ‘What’s going on today?’ and when I get on Instagram, I see the 'Ring’ video came out,” she said in a video posted to Instagram. “And you know, I’m happy for the response it’s getting but it’s just like, I didn’t even get to see final edits for the video. I didn’t even know it was supposed to even come out today.”
As Cardi B's first release since giving birth to her daughter, it was obvious that the rapper would have liked to adequately promote the video before it's release. In her social media rant, the rapper continued to point fingers at who she thinks is behind the leak. “Who did that? It was those Russians! Those damn Russians that helped Trump. I knew it! I knew it is!” she said.
