CELEBRITY Superheroes

The legend behind your favourite Marvel characters, Spider-Man, Black Panther, X-Men, Avengers, and countless others, Stan Lee passed away on November 12 in Los Angeles.

The comic writer was a beloved figure among superhero fans, with the editor having superhero-like status himself. He would often make cameo appearances in many of the Marvel movies, interacting in comedic scenes alongside his famous characters. The icon single-handedly changed the course of popular culture, intertwining the fictional worlds of the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Captain America.

While the cause of his death is still unknown, TMZ reported that an ambulance was called to his Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. Over the past years, he had had some health problems including vision problems and pneumonia.

He is survived by his daughter J.C. who told the tabloid "My father loved all of his fans. He was the greatest, most decent man."

Rest in peace.
