Covered by the darkness of night, Paris' Bois de Vincennes becomes a scary and dangerous place for the many Nigerian women who are trafficked and forced to sell their bodies for sex.

The park, which is home to horse riding schools and operates as a zoo during the day, is part of an enormous cross-continental human trafficking network bringing several women and young girls from Nigeria into Europe. Females are lined up across the park, sometimes wearing nothing more than their underwear, waiting to be approached by men in the night. They will then have sex for as little as €20 (US$23), which they're often made to relinquish fully to pimps.

The tragic story of these women and girls is a part of CNN's Freedom Project: Ending modern-day slavery. For a complete look at their video and to learn more about the sad yet powerful stories of sex-slave survivors, click here.
