Twitter storm - Samantha Grant accused the royal family of being an "embarrassment" for "ignoring" her father and stated she will hold the Duchess of Sussex responsible if he dies, according to the Evening Standard.

The tweet - She wrote: "If our father dies I'm holding you responsible, Meg." And she mentioned @KensingtonRoyal, the handle for the official account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and their Royal Foundation.

The father - Samantha Grant's reaction come after their father Thomas Markle, who is said to be suffering from heart issues, gave an interview over the weekend.

Father's interview - In the interview, he said he believes his daughter looks "terrified" and has a "pained smile," the Evening Standard reported.

The beginning - Samantha Grant is Markle’s wheelchair-bound, much-older half sister from her father’s previous marriage. In April 2017, when Markle was still just dating Harry, Grant announced that she’d be writing a memoir titled ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.’

The letters - In the scathing letter, he called his sister a "jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of [Harry] and the royal family heritage."

Markle's father - Then, Markle’s father Thomas Markle announced he wasn’t going to be attending the wedding as originally expected. He was to walk his daughter down the aisle.

Thomas Markle - This news came after it was revealed that paparazzi shots taken of him were, in fact, staged, according to the Daily Mail.

The photographs - Pictures were captured of him trying on a suit, studying up on Britain, and surfing the web reading up on his daughter and future son-in-law, all in preparation for the wedding.

The photographs - It was later revealed that he conspired with photographers for the images to be taken for  £100,000 (more than US$130,000), according to the Daily Mail.

Taking the blame - Then Markle’s half sister Grant appeared again, shouldering some of the blame. She tweeted that the photos were her idea, this apparently in an attempt to counter some of the bad press surrounding her father (screen shots were posted by the Daily Mail).

R.S.V.P. No - Thomas Markle had originally told TMZ before the wedding that he was planning on bowing out of the nuptials in order to avoid further embarrassing his daughter and the royal family.

R.S.V.P. Yes - But in yet another twist, the next day he spoke to TMZ again, stating he would still very much like to be a part of the day’s events and walk his daughter down the aisle.
