Spice Girl Mel B comes clean about her dangerous history of drug overdoses

Former Spice Girls star, Mel B has gotten candid about her dark history with addiction, overdose, and suicide attempts. In her forthcoming novel 'Brutally Honest,' the performer gives audiences a look into her past while opening up about getting to the place she is now.
According to News.com.au, 'Brutally Honest' reveals Mel B's hidden cocaine addiction and recounts the times she has overdosed on drugs; once when she was 14-years-old and again at 39. The later was in 2014, while Mel B was still married to Stephen Belafonte. The star shares that she took a near-fatal amount of prescription drugs and had to be rushed to the hospital.
In 'Brutally Honest,' Mel B discusses how just days after overdose, she returned to the set of British 'X Factor' where she was a celebrity judge on the show.
