If you thought the #MeToo movement would ruin Louis C.K.'s comedy career forever, it turns out it just ruined his reputation—and his bank account.

The standup comedian returned to the West Side Comedy Club stage to reveal just how much the illicit news cost him. “I lost $35 million in an hour,” Louis C.K. said, according to Page Six.

In November 2017, Louis C.K. confessed to masturbating in front of several women without consent. Since the scandal, the comedian had stayed relatively quiet, however, he has now begun to perform at a few locations around New York City.

Marie Castillo, the host of West Side Comedy Club told the publication that, “He was so genuine and reflected on how weird his year was,” she said. Adding that he, “Tried out some new dark and dirty material.”

Louis C.K. told a joke about being in hell with Adolf Hitler, according to reports.
