Mariah Carey has cancelled her Australian tour, for the second time this year. She was due to tour Australia and New Zealand in October, however, just two months before coming down under she has unceremoniously dumped plans, citing a 'scheduling conflict'.
Maybe Carey is worried she might bump into her ex-fiancee James Packer?
Her tour was originally scheduled to kick off in February, however, it was pushed back to October to accommodate for a "much bigger" plan in October. The new dates actually slashed Perth off the original tour schedule. Maybe Carey got confused between "much bigger" and "much smaller"? These things happen.
The singer announced “It is with much regret that I am unable to visit Australia & New Zealand later this year, however I promise to find new dates soon. I’ve been working away on new music and I cannot wait to share it with you later this year.”
She had been due to perform four shows in Australia and New Zealand, finishing at Brisbane’s Sandstone Point Hotel on October 14.
Fans have cried foul all over social media, we wonder if third time's a charm for the singer? Mariah, why you so scared of coming to Australia? We miss you!
